The Rubig range of linch pins ( linchpins, lynchpins, lynch pins) is made up of three grades.

Safety (or secure) linch pins with patented safety catch in the shaft. This holds the ring in position for improved safety and security. Rubig safety linch pins also feature a third hole at the top of the shaft to which a securing chain can be attached meaning that the pin should not be lost even when not in use. The shafts are hot drop forged in high tensile steel and hardened and tempered to 1200 - 1400 N/mm². The rings are top quality spring steel. (opening force 80 - 120 N). All safety linch pins are galvanised and yellow chromatised (passivated). The specification far exceeds the requirements of DIN 11023 and ISO 7072.

Rubig DIN Linch Pins conform to DIN 11023 and share many of the features of the Safety Linch Pin but not the catch in the shaft.

Rubig Commerce Linch Pins are a more basic quality and design but still significantly stronger than conventional linch pins.
