Significantly lighter than current so called lightweight clothing e.g. Design C (all round protection) trousers weigh 1600 grams compared to SIP at 1962 grams. The arblite design A bib and brace is similarly about two thirds the weight of our Fristads design A bib and brace which uses the conventional Engtex protective material rather than the 6 layers of Kevlar based protective material in the arblite range. EN381 cut tests have shown that only 4 of the 6 layers are cut through using a chain speed of 20 m/s i.e. the Class 1 speed. Arblite lightweight chainsaw trousers and jackets are machine washable at 40 degrees. They should not be spun excessively or wrung dry. Do not tumble dry or bleach. Can be ironed at low temperature.
