 Company BackgroundFor more than 30 years Severnside Safety Supplies Limited of Cheltenham in Gloucestershire, UK have been servicing both local and national customers with an ever increasing range of Safety and Personal Protective Equipment as well as Workwear, Corporate Wear, Safety Boots, Gloves and many other associated products notably SIGNS! The Dunning family, who own Severnside, have connections with the supply of, in particular, hearing protection going right back to 1952!Over this period, Severnside have amassed a wealth of knowledge and expertise and from this base can give help and service to equal the best. As part of our policy of continual improvement we also source unique products to make sure we can solve problems for our customers.This philosophy is exemplified by the Steitz Secura range of safety footwear - now including the SST2 Vitality trainer with anti slip sole and such efficient sole and heel cuhioning that anti fatigue matting can be done away with, our F.L.A.G. (Forestry, Landscaping, Arboriculture and Groundscare) range for protecting, in particular, chainsaw users including chainsaw safety boots, chainsaw safety trousers, chainsaw safety helmets and chainsaw safety gloves and now ARBLITE Technical Wear - possibly the lightest chainsaw trousers and jackets available.The RUBIG range of specialist fasteners and detachable link chain are a little different from our core products - the original connection being the RUBIG SAFETY Linch Pin. As well as promoting these specialised products we are also willing and able to provide a one-stop shop service using our extensive network of contacts to source our customers specific requirements.You are welcome to visit our Trade Counter and experience this face to face or talk to our representatives and/or those of our suppliers, or even just place orders by mail, phone, fax or e-mail websales@sevsafe.co.uk. We now take most credit and debit cards including company Purchasing Cards and have recently installed a new system for showing line item detail.Goods are routinely despatched from our large stockholding here in Cheltenham by 24 hour carrier or by our own local delivery van service. Special deliveries can be arranged if required (e.g. morning and or weekend delivery). If items are not in stock they will be forwarded by 24 hour carrier as soon as possible. PLEASE NOTE WE ARE NOT PROMISING DELIVERY OF ALL ORDERS WITHIN 24 HOURS.We believe that supplying the right product at the right time is fundamental to our business and so were one of the first safety equipment distributors to become registered under a Quality Assurance scheme to BS EN ISO 9002 but this only formalised what we had always done!It almost goes without saying that all products where possible conform to relevant European Norms and/or British Standards.
