Yet another major development from Steitz Secura is the Vario Flex® Sole. This is designed to bend in a way that follows the natural biomechanics of the foot. This is achieved by a flexion zone located under the base toe joints. The sole is available in both TPU and Perbunan and also gives outstanding slip resistance. Flex styles also incorporate Vitality® cushioning for the ball of the foot and Vario® weight dependent heel cushioning. It has been found in many situations that this combination is so effective that anti-fatigue matting is no longer needed.

Steitz Secura move safety footwear forward yet again! Vitality anti fatigue cushioning cushions the ball of the foot. This is so effective that it has been found possible to remove anti-fatigue matting from areas where people are working at machines for long shifts e.g. automotive industry, banks printing departments etc. Some also have Sure Step® anti slip soles giving maximum grip in slippery conditions as well as other Steitz features such as aluminium toe caps and Vario® weight dependent heel cushioning. They are routinely available in two width fittings (NB and XB) and can be made to order in S(mall) and XXB.

Steitz Secura Goretex® Safety Boots conforming to EN345. The Goretex lining makes the boots waterproof but also allows them to 'breathe'. Revolutionary safety footwear from Steitz Secura featuring aluminium safety toe caps. The benefit of the aluminium toecap is not simply the reduction in weight but also the movement of the centre of gravity of the shoe nearer to the middle of the foot. This helps to avoid accidents caused by tripping - particularly in conjunction with one of the other features of Steitz Safety Footwear - the choice of width fittings. They also benefit from reduced magnetic effect and sparking. All styles have the unique Vario® weight dependent heel cushioning system and are available in sizes 38 - 47 in a choice of up to four width fittings. All are available in the two main width fittings NB (Normal) and XB (Wide) and can be ordered as XXB (Extra Extra Wide) or S (Narrow). All styles have new breathable Smartec Air lining or full leather lining. All feature TPU soles for flexibility and comfort combined with strength, abrasion resistance and slip resistance.

Steitz Classic Safety Boots. These products may look like fairly standard safety footwear but the likeness is purely superficial. They feature Vario® weigh dependent heel cushioning, a choice of up to four width fittings and the use of top quality leather uppers and TPU light, flexible abrasion and slip-resistant soles.

Steitz Secura Safety Footwear is produced in as many as four different width fittings as shown in this chart. (For 'Narrow' read 'Normal'!) Paris Stitch is the conventional 'continental' size - one size in this system is equal to ¾ of an English Size. The most nearly exact equivalents are 38 Continental equals 5 English, 42 = 8, 46 = 11.
