Gloves for general purpose protection as well as specific hazards such as chemicals, sharp things, heat, cold ..... from ATG, Timberland, Honeywell, Ansell and Delta Plus. Gloves conform to a wide range of standards but we try to chose the ones that give added value in terms of comfort and wearability as well as providing the relevant protection at competitive prices. European Standards include:- EN388 for protection against mechanical risks. Four categories are included - Abrasion, Cut, Tear and Puncture - and the gloves will be marked with 4 numbers as well as the EN388 e.g. 2 3 2 2 giving an indication of the level of protection in each of the four categories - the best score is 5 for cut protection but 4 in the other three categories.
