For more than 40 years, Severnside Safety Supplies Limited of Cheltenham in Gloucestershire, UK has been supplying both local and national customers with an ever increasing range of Safety and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as well as Workwear, Corporate Wear, Safety Boots (including ESD styles), Gloves and many other associated products – notably SIGNS. The Dunning family, who own Severnside, have connections with the supply of, in particular, hearing protection going right back to 1952. Over this period, we have amassed a wealth of knowledge and expertise and from this base can give help and service to equal the best. As part of our policy of continual improvement we also source unique products to make sure we can solve problems for our customers.
This philosophy is exemplified by the Steitz Secura ‘most comfortable’ range of safety footwear (including many ESD styles) and our Chainsaw Safety products featuring Francital clothing, Treemme and Steitz chainsaw safety boots, Rocwood chainsaw safety helmets and chainsaw safety gloves and now High Visibility orange clothing (for chainsaw users) conforming to EN471 and GO/RT Railway standards.
The RUBIG range of specialist fasteners and detachable link chain is rather different from our core product range - the original connection being the RUBIG SAFETY Linch Pin - but also illustrates our passion for top quality products.
This is a passion reflected in our choice of other main brands that we stock and promote such as Bollé safety spectacles and goggles, Scott Protector safety helmets, Tranemo, Lyngsoe and ID® workwear, waterproof and corporate clothing and a wide range of products from Honeywell including Timberland Pro workwear, gloves and safety boots. Recent additions to this range include ATG Gloves and Delta Plus products (supplementing the LH Safety footwear we were already stocking)
As well as promoting these specialised products we are also willing and able to provide a one-stop shop service using our extensive network of contacts to source our customer’s specific requirements.
